Former AHL’er killed in car accident

Former American Hockey League forward Jonathan Delisle was killed Thursday in a car accident, the Canadian Press reported.

Delisle, 28, was involved in a two-vehicle accident in the Beauce region south of Quebec City.

A 1995 draft pick of the Montreal Canadiens, Delisle played 313 games over five AHL seasons (1997-2002) for Montreal’s affiliates in Fredericton and Quebec.
