Colorado Eagles goaltender Spencer Martin stopped all 68 shots he faced as Colorado defeated the Ontario Reign, 4-0, on Friday night in Ontario, Calif.

Defenseman Mark Alt recorded a hat trick, Tyson Jost scored his first AHL goal of the season and David Warsofsky and Michael Joly tallied two assists each for the Eagles, who were outshot 68-44 in the game.

Martin is the first AHL goalie with as many as 60 saves in a single regular-season game since J.S. Aubin stopped 63 shots for the St. John’s Maple Leafs in a 5-3 win over Syracuse on Dec. 30, 2004.

Forwards Matt Luff and Mike Amadio led the way with eight shots on goal each for the Reign, who recorded 16 shots in the first, 27 in the second and 25 more in the third.
