Nashville reassigns Hornqvist to Milwaukee

mil_200.jpgNashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Patric Hornqvist to Milwaukee of the American Hockey League.

Hornqvist has seven points (2g-5a) in 28 games with the Predators this season, with all of his points amassed during his first stint with the club from Oct. 10-Nov. 20. In 47 games with Milwaukee, he has 35 points (17g-18a), and put together an eight-game goal streak (8g-3a) Feb. 24-March 11.

Hornqvist is expected to join the Admirals in Peoria where they will battle the Rivermen tonight at 7:00 pm (CT). Milwaukee will finish up the regular season on Friday night at home against the Chicago Wolves at 7:00 pm (CT) at the Bradley Center.
