AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Syracuse Crunch forward Alex Gallant has been suspended for four (4) games as a consequence of a charging incident in a game vs. Rochester on Nov. 22.

Gallant was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

He will miss Syracuse’s games tonight (Nov. 24) vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Saturday (Nov. 25) at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Wednesday (Nov. 29) at Toronto and Dec. 1 vs. Laval.
