Toronto visits Grand Rapids tonight in the back end of a home-and-home after the Griffins took a 4-3 overtime win at Ricoh Coliseum on Tuesday… Landon Ferraro scored the game-winning goal in Tuesday’s victory and Tom McCollum made 37 saves, the most by a Griffins goaltender this season… Rookie Gustav Nyquist has 1-5-6 in his last three games for Grand Rapids, and Tomas Tatar has totaled 2-3-5 in his last two outings… Despite seeing their six-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday, the North Division-leading Marlies have earned points in eight straight outings (6-0-1-1)… Nazem Kadri, the Reebok/AHL Player of the Month for November, has 5-5-10 during his current five-game scoring streak for Toronto.

Manchester visits Binghamton tonight for the teams’ first meeting since the Senators ousted the Monarchs in the first round of the 2011 Calder Cup Playoffs… All four of Binghamton’s wins in that division semifinal came in overtime, including Games 5, 6 and 7 to erase a 3-1 series deficit… Manchester comes into play tonight with six straight wins, all by one goal… Linden Vey had two goals and an assist and David Kolomatis scored in overtime to give the Monarchs a 5-4 win at Bridgeport in their last action on Sunday… Robin Lehner is looking to end a personal seven-game winless skid (0-6-1) in the Senators’ net… Andre Petersson has found the scoresheet in six consecutive games for Binghamton (2-4-6).

Portland puts a seven-game points streak (6-0-1-0) on the line as it opens a tough road weekend in Wilkes-Barre tonight… The Pirates, who will also visit Hershey and Springfield this weekend, are coming off a home-and-home sweep of Worcester last week… Andy Miele, the Reebok/AHL Rookie of the Month for November, is third among all AHL rookies in scoring with 7-13-20 in just 14 games… Matt Watkins has 3-4-7 in his last four games for Portland… Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has one win in its last seven games (1-3-0-3), a slide that began with a 3-2 shootout loss in Portland on Nov. 18… Ben Street has four points (2-2-4) in his last three games for the Penguins.

Two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference open a two-game set at Scope tonight as Norfolk hosts Adirondack… The Admirals are tied for first in the East Division at 13-8-0-1, while the Phantoms are two points out of first in the Northeast Division at 12-7-0-1… Adirondack has won three games in a row; a four-game streak would match the franchise’s long since moving to Glens Falls in 2009… Phantoms goalie Michael Leighton earned the first 75 of his 151 career AHL wins for Norfolk from 2001-05… Adirondack’s Jason Akeson (6-11-17) is up to sixth in AHL rookie scoring, a list topped by the Admirals’ Cory Conacher (12-13-25)… Norfolk has also won three in a row, including Tuesday’s 5-2 victory over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton… Blair Jones has 2-2-4 in three games since joining Norfolk from the parent Tampa Bay Lightning.

Hershey pays a visit to Syracuse tonight for the third of six meetings between the teams on the year… The Bears were 7-0 winners on Oct. 23, but the Crunch pulled out a 3-2 shootout victory on Nov. 18… Hershey sits two points ahead of Syracuse in the East Division and four points behind co-leaders Norfolk and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton… Keith Aucoin (4-26-30) has taken over the AHL scoring lead, and has assisted on each of the Bears’ six goals over the last two games… Nick Bonino (3-4-7) and Mathieu Carle (2-6-8) both have five-game scoring streaks for the Crunch… Iiro Tarkki (6-5-1) sports a 2.52 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage for Syracuse.

Springfield, which has lost three in a row on the heels of winning seven of its previous nine, travels to the DCU Center in Worcester tonight for a swim with the Sharks… Both teams’ scoring leaders — Springfield’s Martin St. Pierre (5-16-21) and Worcester’s Mike Connolly (5-10-15) — missed action last weekend due to injury… Cam Atkinson (9-6-15) leads the Falcons and is tied for third among AHL rookies with nine goals on the year… Worcester has lost seven of its last eight games, although three were in overtime… The Sharks’ Matt Irwin (6-8-14) leads all AHL defensemen with six power-play goals on the season.

Houston continues a five-game road swing with a stop in Rochester tonight… The Aeros are one point behind first-place Oklahoma City in the West Division entering the weekend, while the Americans are second in the North Division, five points back of Toronto… Houston has also won six straight road games and is 8-1-0-1 away from home on the year… Chad Rau has scored the game-winning goal in each of the Aeros’ last two outings… Houston’s Jeff Taffe led Rochester with 28 goals in 2009-10… The Amerks have won six of their last eight, most recently a 5-3 win over Hamilton on Saturday in which Derek Whitmore scored four goals.

Milwaukee and Peoria kick off a home-and-home at the Bradley Center tonight, their third of 12 meetings on the season… The Admirals have already defeated the Rivermen twice, and enter the game one point ahead of third-place Peoria in the Midwest Division standings… Coming off a hat trick in Tuesday’s 8-3 win over Abbotsford, Chris Mueller has 6-2-8 in his last four games for Milwaukee… Ryan Thang had a goal and two assists and Gabriel Bourque added three assists in Tuesday’s victory… Peoria is closing out a nine-game road stretch, having gone 4-4-0-0 to date… Ben Bishop made 28 saves and Phil McRae scored for a fourth consecutive game in the Rivermen’s 4-0 win at Chicago on Sunday.

Owners of the best record in the AHL (15-5-0-1), Oklahoma City hosts San Antonio tonight in the front end of a home-and-home series… The Barons won three road games last weekend, capping it off with a 5-4 victory in Grand Rapids on Sunday… Gilbert Brule recorded two goals and an assist in that win… OKC forward Philippe Cornet (15-3-18) continues to lead the AHL in goals… Former Rampage netminder David LeNeveu is 2-0-0 (1.51, .951) vs. San Antonio this season… The Rampage are coming off a two-game sweep in Abbotsford, in which Dov Grumet-Morris stopped 51 of 52 shots combined… Bill Thomas has points in five straight games for San Antonio (5-4-9).

After its six-game points streak was snapped in a 2-1 loss to Houston on Wednesday, Lake Erie opens a six-game road trip with a visit to Rockford tonight… The Monsters had been 5-0-0-1 before Wednesday’s setback, in which Trevor Cann made 25 saves and Greg Mauldin scored the lone Lake Erie goal… Former IceHog Evan Brophey has notched 5-2-7 in his last six games for the Monsters… Brandon Pirri was held scoreless in Rockford’s 3-1 loss to Oklahoma City on Saturday, but still shows 6-5-11 in his last six games… IceHogs forward Rob Klinkhammer recorded 2-6-8 in five games vs. Lake Erie last season.
