The St. Louis Blues, parent club of the AHL’s Peoria Rivermen, announced Friday that they have signed forward Andrew Murray to a one-year, two-way contract.
Murray, 30, dressed in 39 games for the San Jose Sharks last season, recording one goal and three assists. He also appeared in 10 games for their American Hockey League affiliate, the Worcester Sharks, tallying two goals and one assist.
Overall, the 6-foot-2, 218-pound forward has totaled 24 goals and 16 assists for 40 points in 220 NHL games between San Jose and Columbus. Murray also has recorded 38 goals and 31 assists for 69 points in 193 AHL contests for Worcester and Syracuse.
The Selkirk, Man., native was originally drafted by Columbus in the eighth round of the 2001 Entry Draft.
