Marlies sign Shaw to three-year deal

The Toronto Marlies have signed forward Logan Shaw to a three-year American Hockey League contract, running through the 2024-25 season.

Shaw captained the Belleville Senators to their first-ever Calder Cup Playoff appearance in 2021-22, notching 15 goals and 20 assists for 35 points in 53 regular-season games. He added two assists in two postseason contests, and contributed one goal and two assists in 17 NHL games with Ottawa as well.

In 312 AHL games over nine pro seasons with Belleville, Manitoba, San Diego, Springfield, Portland and San Antonio, Shaw has tallied 83 goals and 78 assists for 161 points. He was an AHL All-Star in 2018-19, when he posted career highs in goals (29), assists (22) and points (51).

Originally a third-round pick by Florida in the 2011 NHL Draft, Shaw has skated in 232 NHL contests with Florida, Anaheim, Montreal, Winnipeg and Ottawa, totaling 16 goals and 23 assists for 39 points.
