The Manchester Monarchs, the top affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with defenseman Richard Seeley.
As per club policy terms of the agreement were not announced.
Seeley, 26, appeared in 186 games with the Monarchs, recording 41 points (8g, 33a) and 285 penalty minutes during his three years with the team (2001-04). The 6-foot-2, 215-pound native of Powell River, B.C., split time between the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and the Norfolk Admirals during the 2004-05 season.
The Monarchs also announced the signing of defenseman Eric Werner and right wing Ryan Murphy. Murphy appeared in five regular season and two playoff games with the Monarchs during 2004-05, while Werner played for the University of Michigan last season.
