The American Hockey League announced today that Portland Pirates center Darcy Verot has been suspended for three (3) regular season games as a result of his actions in a January 7, 2005 AHL game in Hartford.
Verot has already served the first two games of his suspension (Jan. 8 vs. Providence; Jan. 9 vs. Springfield) and will also miss Portland’s next regular season game on Sat., Jan. 15 vs. Lowell.
