The San Antonio Rampage today announced that forwards Brendan Ranford and Brady Shaw have been signed to AHL contracts.
Ranford, 25, was acquired by Colorado on Mar. 1 and finished the 2016-17 season in San Antonio, collecting 17 points in 21 games. In 67 total games with Texas, Tucson and San Antonio last season, Ranford finished with 10 goals and 24 assists for 34 points.
A seventh-round pick by Philadelphia in the 2010 NHL Draft, Ranford has tallied 59 goals and 118 assists in 281 career AHL games, and won a Calder Cup championship with Texas in 2014.
Ranford has also made one NHL appearance, with Dallas on Feb. 19, 2015.
Shaw, 24, rejoins the Rampage after making his professional debut with San Antonio on an amateur tryout contract last spring. Shaw appeared in six AHL games after completing his senior season at the University of Vermont.
