The New York Rangers, NHL affiliate of the American Hockey League’s Hartford Wolf Pack, announced today the signings of forward Dominic Moore and defenseman Bryce Lampman.
Both players were key members of the Wolf Pack squad that finished second in the AHL’s Atlantic division with 50 wins and 106 points in 2004-05.
Moore, 25, appeared in 78 games with Hartford last season, posting career highs in all offensive categories, collecting 19 goals and 31 assists for 50 points, along with 78 penalty minutes. His 31 assists ranked second on the team, while his 50 points ranked third and his 19 goals ranked fourth on the club.
The 6-0, 195-pounder skated in five matches with the Rangers in 2003-04, tallying three assists. He made his Rangers/NHL debut and recorded his first NHL points on November 1 at Montreal, recording three assists in a 5-1 victory. With the three assists, he became just the second player in franchise history to record three points in his NHL debut with the Rangers
The majority of his 2003-04 season was spent in Hartford, as he appeared in 70 games with the Pack, notching 14 goals and 25 assists in his first professional campaign. Moore also helped Hartford reach the AHL’s Eastern Conference Finals, recording three goals and three assists in 16 post-season matches.
Bryce Lampman led Hartford with a plus-19 rating in 2004-05.

Lampman, 22, appeared in 74 games with the Wolf Pack last season, collecting seven goals and 18 assists for 25 points, along with 74 penalty minutes. He ranked first on the team with a plus-19 rating and second among team defensemen in goals, assists, and points.
The 6-1, 200-pounder made his Rangers/NHL debut on March 9, 2004 at Atlanta and skated in a total of eight games with the Rangers during the 2003-04 season. Before being called up by the Rangers, Lampman spent the majority of the 2003-04 campaign in Hartford, appearing in 68 games with the Pack, notching four goals and 11 assists, along with 50 penalty minutes. His 15 points ranked third among team defensemen.
