Road Runners add Healey

The Edmonton Road Runners announced on Saturday morning that they have acquired forward Paul Healey from the San Antonio Rampage.

The 6-foot-2, 207-pound Edmonton native is in his 10th professional season and has National Hockey League experience (75gp, 6g, 14a) after stints with the Philadelphia Flyers, Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers.

In 62 games with the Rampage this season, the 29-year-old has recorded 23 points (6-17-23) and 50 penalty minutes. Healey has played 552 career AHL games, played in the AHL All-Star Classic in 2001 and was a member of the 1998 Calder Cup champion Philadelphia Phantoms.

Healey will join the Road Runners on Sunday in Hamilton where they will face-off against the Bulldogs.
