The Chicago Wolves announced Tuesday that they have signed forward Rob Bordson.
Bordson will join the Wolves for his fifth season of American Hockey League play after splitting the last four among Adirondack, Rochester, and Syracuse. He is coming off a 25-point season with the Phantoms (11 goals, 14 assists), tying his career-high set in 2012-13. Additionally, he served as an alternate captain with Adirondack.
The 26-year-old Bordson has accrued 33 goals and 48 assists for 81 points, along with 154 penalty minutes, in 256 career AHL contests.
Prior to his professional debut, Bordson played three seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He was twice named to the All-Academic Team (2008-09, 2009-10) and helped the Bulldogs capture the 2009 WCHA conference championship.
