The Chicago Wolves have signed defenseman Troy Milam, the team announced on Wednesday.
Milam registered two goals, 12 assists and 34 penalty minutes in 42 games with the Manchester Monarchs last season. The Lake Orion, Mich., native also chipped in 10 assists and eight penalty minutes in 19 contests with the Reading Royals of the ECHL.
Overall, the 25-year-old blueliner has recorded 17 points (3g, 14a) in 62 career American Hockey League games with the Monarchs and San Antonio Rampage. Prior to turning pro, Milam recorded 79 points (21g, 58a) in 155 games spanning four seasons with Ferris State University (1999-2003).
