During this, his first season with the B-Sens, Regin has scored 15 goals and added 23 assists while recording 32 penalty minutes in 46 games. The recall is Regin’s third this season.

Regin made his National Hockey League debut (becoming only the fifth player born in Denmark to do so) on Jan. 20 vs. Washington and has appeared in six games with Ottawa this season. He recorded his only point when he scored the game-winning goal in a 3-1 victory at St. Louis on Jan. 29.

Regin was Ottawa’s second third-round pick (87th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
