Pasquale re-signs with Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning have re-signed goaltender Eddie Pasquale to a one-year, two-way contract.

Pasquale, 27, appeared in 31 American Hockey League games last season, ranking fifth in the league with a .923 save percentage and fourth with a 2.19 goals-against average. Pasquale posted a record of 16-6-7 between Bakersfield and Syracuse in 2017-18.

The Toronto native has played in 226 career AHL games with Syracuse, Bakersfield, Grand Rapids, St. John’s and Chicago, with a record of 110-84-22 with a 2.54 GAA, a .914 save percentage and 16 shutouts. Pasquale won a Calder Cup championship with the Griffins in 2017.

Pasquale was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round, 117th overall, at the 2009 NHL Draft.
