Brad Winchester scored twice for Edmonton in a 4-3 win over San Antonio on Monday evening at Rexall Place.
Winchester’s second goal of the game at 6:29 in the third period proved to be the game winner. Tyler Moss saved 19 of 22 shots to earn the victory, while Patrick DesRochers allowed four goals on 29 shots in the defeat.
Tony Salmelainen opened the scoring for the Road Runners just 3:47 into the game. Mathieu Roy assisted on the first two goals for Edmonton and finished a plus-3 on the night. Toby Petersen gave the Road Runners a 3-2 lead at 5:18 in the third.
Greg Jacina, Paul Healey, and Serge Payer scored for the Rampage, who through three games have 11 goals by 11 different players.
