Rochester’s comeback from a 3-1 deficit to beat Syracuse marked the 12th time in AHL history that a team has accomplished that feat, but the third time for the Amerks franchise… Derek Roy, who captained Kitchener to the Memorial Cup in 2003, had seven points in the first round for the Amerks… Rochester was winless in five visits to Copps Coliseum this season… Ryan Miller is 2-8-1 in his career against Hamilton… Rookie Chris Higgins led the Bulldogs with 10 points in the season series with Rochester… The Amerks eliminated the Bulldogs in six games in both 1999 and 2000 on their way to back-to-back Calder Cup Finals… Hamilton is now 7-0 all-time in first-round series, and 3-3 in the second round.
