Syracuse signs Adam Comrie

The Syracuse Crunch have signed defenseman Adam Comrie to an American Hockey League contract.

 

Comrie, 25, skated in 32 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, posting nine goals and six assists during the 2015-16 season. The 6-foot-4, 219-pound blueliner also appeared in 39 contests with the Reading Royals of the ECHL last season, earning 34 points (15g, 19a) and a plus-8 rating. In 196 career AHL games with Lehigh Valley, the Worcester Sharks and Rochester Americans, Comrie has recorded 20 goals and 52 assists.

 

Comrie was drafted in the third round, 80th overall, by the Florida Panthers at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
