The American Hockey League held its 2026 Awards Gala during the Board of Governors’ Annual Meeting at Hilton Head Island, S.C., on Wednesday evening, presenting several awards for excellence and service.

The American Hockey League has honored Ryan Holt, vice president of marketing and communications for the Bakersfield Condors, and Mason Wilks, director of ticket sales and service for the San Jose Barracuda, with awards at the 2026 AHL Team Business Meetings presented by Victory Live.

Jakob Pelletier has been selected as the Fortune Tires “Expect More” AHL Player of the Year, honoring one standout AHL player for exceptional performance over the course of the 2025-26 season. Fortune Tires, the Official Tire of the AHL, will contribute $2,500 to the player’s charity of choice.

Bruins’ DiPietro voted AHL MVP

Goaltender Michael DiPietro of the Providence Bruins has been voted the winner of the Les Cunningham Award as the AHL’s most valuable player for the 2025-26 season.
