Syracuse goalie Adam Wilcox stands just 6-foot tall, a build that leaves him several inches short of many of the other netminders in the AHL and NHL. But for much of this season, his play and results have been looming very large.

Coming over from Montreal, newcomers Michael Bournival and Gabriel Dumont have sparked the Syracuse Crunch early this season.

“At any level, [when] you get to be a winner, you’re a winner your whole life. That’s the one thing I’m still chasing.”

This has been a long off-season for Syracuse Crunch fans, and new head coach Benoit Groulx appreciates their pain.
