After an outstanding regular season and a determined postseason run, the Chicago Wolves won the 2008 Calder Cup title on Tuesday, defeating the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in six games.
Led by regular-season and Calder Cup Playoff MVP Jason Krog, AHL all-time playoff scoring leader Darren Haydar, and standout rookie goaltender Ondrej Pavelec, the Wolves are AHL champions for the second time in seven years.
