Minnesota agrees to terms with Liambas

The Minnesota Wild have agreed to terms with forward Mike Liambas on a two-year, two-way contract.

Liambas, 29, collected four goals and three assists in 40 AHL games with the San Diego Gulls last season, along with one assist in seven NHL games with the Anaheim Ducks.

Liambas has appeared in 297 AHL games over the last six seasons with San Diego, Rockford and Milwaukee, registering 17 goals and 20 assists along with 940 penalty minutes.

The Toronto native has played eight NHL games with Anaheim and Nashville, totaling one assist and 21 PIM.
