Ducks re-sign Boyle to two-year deal

The Anaheim Ducks announced today that they have signed goaltender Kevin Boyle to a two-year, two-way contract extension through the 2019-20 season.

Boyle, 26, was 19-13-2 in 35 appearances for the AHL’s San Diego Gulls in 2017-18, posting a 2.66 goals-against average and ranking 10th in the American Hockey League with a .921 save percentage.

Over two pro seasons, Boyle has a record of 29-18-6 in 54 games with San Diego, with a 2.52 GAA, a .922 save percentage and two shutouts.

Boyle originally signed as a free agent with Anaheim on Mar. 30, 2016, following two seasons at UMass-Amherst and two more at UMass-Lowell.
