Marlies re-sign Greening for 2018-19

The Toronto Marlies announced that forward Colin Greening has re-signed with the club for the 2018-19 season.

Greening, 32, will enter his third season with the Marlies in 2018-19 after helping the team to its first Calder Cup championship in 2018. The St. John’s, N.L., native registered 16 goals and 13 assists in 73 regular-season games with the Marlies last season and added four goals and five assists in 20 postseason contests.

Greening, who also won a Calder Cup with the Binghamton Senators in 2011, has skated in 254 career AHL contests and has recorded 53 goals and 60 assists for 113 points.

Originally selected in the seventh round of the 2005 NHL Draft, Greening has played 286 NHL games with Ottawa and Toronto, recording 102 points (45 goals, 57 assists).
