Flames sign Graovac, Quine

The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed free-agent forwards Tyler Graovac and Alan Quine.

Graovac, a 25-year-old native of Brampton, Ontario, played 53 games with the AHL’s Hershey Bears in 2017-18, netting 12 goals and 17 assists for 29 points. He also skated in five NHL games with the Washington Capitals.

Graovac has played 255 AHL games over five seasons with Hershey and Iowa, totaling 61 goals and 70 assists for 131 points.

A seventh-round draft pick by Minnesota in 2011, Graovac also has seven goals and two assists in 62 NHL games with the Wild and Capitals.

Quine, a 25-year-old native of Belleville, Ontario, played 21 games with the New York Islanders last season, picking up three assists. He also had one goal in four AHL games with Bridgeport.

An AHL All-Star in 2016, Quine has notched 51 goals and 87 assists for 138 points in 199 career AHL games with Bridgeport and Grand Rapids.

He also has six goals and 16 assists for 22 points in 84 NHL games with the Islanders, along with one goal and four assists in 10 Stanley Cup Playoff goals.
