Kings re-sign four

The Los Angeles Kings have re-signed restricted free agents forwards Michael Amadio and Sheldon Rempal and defensemen Daniel Brickley and Matt Roy.

Amadio, Brickley and Roy have signed two-year extensions, and Rempal has signed his qualifying offer.

Amadio, 23, notched eight goals and 18 assists for 26 points in 28 AHL games with the Ontario Reign last season. He also tallied six goals and seven assists for 13 points in 43 NHL games with Los Angeles.

A third-round choice by the Kings in the 2014 NHL Draft, Amadio
has appeared in 128 AHL games over three seasons with Ontario, notching 35 goals and 67 assists for 102 points. He has added 10 goals and 11 assists in 80 NHL outings with Los Angeles.

Rempal, 23, was an AHL All-Star as a rookie in 2018-19, recording 15 goals and 25 assists for 40 points in 59 games with Ontario.

The Calgary native also made his NHL debut with the Kings last season, skating in seven games.

Brickley, 24, notched two goals and 10 assists for 12 points in 42 AHL games as a rookie with Ontario last season. He also appeared in four NHL games with the Kings, posting one assist.

Roy, 24, made his NHL debut with Los Angeles last season, registering two goals and four assists in 25 games. He added eight goals and 21 assists for 29 points in 45 AHL games with Ontario.

A seventh-round pick by the Kings in the 2015 NHL Draft, Roy enters his third pro season with 12 goals and 35 assists for 47 points in 102 career AHL games with the Reign.
