Admirals ink Johnson to AHL deal

The Milwaukee Admirals have signed goaltender Cam Johnson to an AHL contract for the 2019-20 season.

Johnson spent his rookie season with the AHL’s Binghamton Devils in 2018-19, appearing in 29 games and posting a record of 11-15-3 with a 3.79 goals-against average, an .872 save percentage and one shutout.

He also appeared in 10 games with Adirondack (ECHL), going 4-5-1 (2.54, .915).

A native of Troy, Mich., Johnson played four years at the University of North Dakota and won a national championship in 2016.
