Manitoba signs Scott Glennie to PTO

The Manitoba Moose announced that the team has signed forward Scott Glennie to a professional tryout agreement.

Glennie, 25, enters Moose training camp with 230 games of AHL experience, all with the Texas Stars.  The Winnipeg native has 118 points (46 goals, 72 assists) over his AHL career and captured a Calder Cup championship with the Stars in 2014.

Glennie missed the 2015-16 season due to injury following a career year in 2014-15 when he posted 39 points (14 goals, 25 assists) in 69 games.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound forward was an offensive standout in junior, amassing 121 goals and 187 assists for 308 points in 252 games with Brandon of the Western Hockey League. He was a first-round pick, eighth overall, of the Dallas Stars in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut with Dallas, playing one game in 2011-12.
