Who has the hardest shot? Who will fly by the rest in a skating competition? Who will capitalize on the breakaway, every single time?

The Manitoba Moose are pleased to announce they will hold their first-ever Manitoba Moose Super Skills Competition at MTS Centre on Tuesday, Nov. 17, beginning at 7:00 p.m. (CT).

Fans of all ages are encouraged to come at 6:00 p.m. to test their own skills with different activities and interactive games throughout the concourse of MTS Centre prior to the competition.

Captain Mike Keane, Nolan Baumgartner, Marty Murray, and the rest of the Moose squad will compete in four different skill categories to determine the team’s best in such areas as hardest shot, fastest skater and most accurate shot, as well as a breakaway competition.

With this being the first-ever Moose skills competition, the titles are all up for grabs and players will be vying to take home the first-ever individual awards. Whether it is Sergei Shirokov who can skate the fastest or Guillaume Desbiens who wows the crowd with his breakaway abilities, the competitions are designed to measure skill levels in a fun and easy fashion to give fans a rare opportunity to see the players interacting and competing with each other.

At the conclusion of this first-ever team skills competition, fans will have the unique opportunity to come down to the boards at ice level and get autographs from the players. The glass will be removed from specific areas around the rink so, from the seating area, fans will be able to interact with the players throughout the night.

Attendees will be treated to a full-game production including new videos, several giveaways and candid player interviews. Prior to the competition, fans will have the chance to test their own unique skill sets with interactive programs and games set up by Focus Fitness around the concourse.
