The Pacific Division Finals move to Cedar Park tied at one game apiece as Texas hosts Tucson in Game 3 tonight… The Stars’ 4-1 road win in Game 2 on Friday night leveled the series after the Roadrunners took Game 1 in overtime… Brian Flynn (5-1-6) has scored three of Texas’s five goals in the series — including two empty-netters in Game 2 on Friday — and leads the AHL with five goals overall this postseason… Travis Morin (2-3-5) and Curtis McKenzie (1-4-5), both members of the Stars’ Calder Cup championship team in 2014, are tied for second in team scoring with five points apiece… Following his 32-save effort in Game 2, Mike McKenna (4-2, 1.59, .957) has stopped 157 of 160 shots (0.70, .981) in his last four appearances for the Stars… Adin Hill (4-2, 1.64, .941) has allowed three goals on 100 shots (0.73, .970) in the same span for the Roadrunners… Tucson rookie Dylan Strome (3-5-8) is without a point in this series after putting up eight points in four games vs. San Jose in the division semifinals… Mario Kempe (4-3-7) had a five-game scoring streak snapped in Game 2… Michael Bunting (3-1-4) scored both Roadrunners goals in their Game 1 win, and Lane Pederson (3-1-4) found the net in Game 2… Both teams are 1-for-7 on the power play in the series.

In yesterday’s Stanley Cup Playoff action, three-time AHL All-Star Jonathan Marchessault scored, as did 2010 Calder Cup champion Cody Eakin, as Vegas advanced to the Western Conference Final with a 3-0 win at San Jose… Nate Schmidt tallied a goal and an assist for the Golden Knight, and Marc-Andre Fleury registered his fourth shutout of the postseason… 2013 AHL All-Star J.T. Miller scored the game-winning goal as Tampa Bay eliminated Boston with a 3-1 victory in Game 5.

May 7, 2015 – Curtis Hamilton scores 16 seconds into the fourth overtime period to give Oklahoma City a 2-1 win over Utica in Game 1 of their second-round series… The Barons’ Richard Bachman (56 saves) and the Comets’ Jacob Markstrom (65 saves) combine to stop 121 of 124 shots in the five-hour, 12-minute marathon.

May 7, 1975 – The Springfield Indians capture the Calder Cup with a 4-0 win over New Haven.

May 7, 1969 – The Hershey Bears win their fourth Calder Cup, defeating the visiting Quebec Aces by a 3-0 score.
