The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired forward Nikita Grebenkin, along with a first-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft, from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for forward Scott Laughton, a fourth-round draft pick in 2025 and a sixth-round draft pick in 2027.

Grebenkin, 21, is in his first season in North America after being selected by Toronto in the fifth round of the 2022 NHL Draft. He has recorded nine goals and 12 assists for 21 points in 39 games with the AHL’s Toronto Marlies, and has also skated in seven NHL games with the Maple Leafs.

Grebenkin spent the previous two seasons in the KHL, and won a league championship with Metallurg Magnitogorsk in 2023-24.
