The Toronto Marlies announced today that the club has signed forward Darren Archibald for the 2019-20 season.
Archibald, 29, skated in 51 AHL games between Belleville and Utica last season, totaling 19 goals and 14 assists for 33 points. He also appeared in 12 NHL games with Ottawa and Vancouver, picking up one goal and one assist.
A native of North York, Ont., Archibald has played 407 games in the AHL with Belleville, Utica and Chicago, registering 96 goals and 88 assists for 184 points. He has two goals and two assists in seven career postseason games, reaching the Calder Cup Finals with Utica in 2015.
In 55 career NHL games with the Senators and Canucks, Archibald has recorded six goals and eight assists for 14 points.
