Minnesota signs Dalpe, Fedotenko, Hagel

The Minnesota Wild, parent club of the AHL’s Iowa Wild, have signed forwards Zac Dalpe and Ruslan Fedotenko to one-year, two-way contracts and forward Marc Hagel to a two-year, two-way contract.

Dalpe tallied 16 goals and 12 assists for 28 points in 44 AHL games with the Rochester Americans in 2014-15, along with one goal and two assists in 21 NHL games with the Buffalo Sabres.

The native of Paris, Ont., has recorded 84 goals and 86 assists for 170 points in 230 career AHL games with Rochester, Utica, Charlotte and Albany. He also has 10 goals and 10 assists in 117 career NHL contests with Carolina, Vancouver and Buffalo.

Dalpe was originally selected by the Hurricanes in the second round (45th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Fedotenko, 36, returned to North America and recorded three goals in 13 AHL games with Iowa in 2014-15. The native of Kiev, Ukraine, has totaled 173 goals and 193 assists for 366 points in 863 career NHL games during parts of 12 seasons with Philadelphia, Tampa Bay, the New York Islanders, Pittsburgh and the New York Rangers, adding 40 points (22 goals, 18 assists) in 108 NHL playoff games during 10 NHL postseasons. Fedotenko scored the championship-winning goal to help Tampa Bay win the 2004 Stanley Cup and earned his second Stanley Cup title in 2009 with Pittsburgh.

Hagel, 26 (9/2/88), recorded 12 goals and 21 assists for 33 points in 67 games with Iowa last season. The native of Hamilton, Ont., notched eight goals and seven assists in 46 games as a rookie in 2013-14.
