The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Norfolk Admirals both found the win column in AHL matinee action on Monday.
The Penguins put an end to their three-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory in Syracuse. Ryan Stone and Erik Christensen scored in the third period for Wilkes-Barre, which won for the 30th time in 39 games on the year.
It was also the Pens’ 16th road win of the season, tying a franchise record.
Dany Sabourin turned aside 37 shots to improve to 16-3-1 on the year.
Joakim Lindstrom recorded two assists for the Crunch, who saw their four-game win streak come to an end. Syracuse defenseman Andy Delmore was held scoreless, bringing a close to his 15-game scoring streak.
In Bridgeport, Quintin Laing and Matt Keith scored in the third period to lift Norfolk past the Sound Tigers, 4-3.
Bridgeport had been unbeaten in regulation in its previous eight home games (6-0-0-2).
Nathan Barrett had a goal and an assist for the Admirals, and Corey Crawford made 25 saves as Norfolk moved into a tie with the Tigers for third place in the East Division.
