Derrick Pouliot scored 7:49 into overtime to give the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins a 6-5 win over the Providence Bruins in Game 2 of their Atlantic Division semifinal series on Sunday afternoon.

The series is now even at one game apiece.

The top two defensive teams in the AHL during the regular season combined for the most goals in a Calder Cup Playoff game since 2015.

Former Bruin David Warsofsky tallied two goals and two assists for the Penguins, who led 3-0 and 4-3 but needed an extra-attacker with 1:03 left in regulation to force OT.

Josh Archibald scored twice and Kevin Porter recorded four assists to tie a Wilkes-Barre franchise record for a playoff game.

Chris Porter tallied two goals for Providence, while Tommy Cross had a goal and two assists and Danton Heinen and Peter Mueller scored third-period markers.

Game 3 is set for Thursday night in Wilkes-Barre.
