The Nashville Predators announced Thursday that Greg Rallo has been hired as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Admirals.

Rallo will join Scott Ford as assistants under new Admirals head coach Karl Taylor.

Rallo, 36, completed a 12-year professional playing career by skating in 29 regular-season games with the Texas Stars – where Taylor was an assistant coach – in 2017-18, collecting five goals and six assists for 11 points.

A native of Gurnee, Ill., Rallo appeared in 615 regular-season AHL games with Texas, San Antonio, Manitoba, Albany, Rockford and Iowa, totaling 165 goals and 176 assists for 341 points. He added seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points in 63 postseason games, reaching the Calder Cup Finals with the Moose in 2009 and the Stars in 2010.

Undrafted, Rallo played 11 games in the National Hockey League during his career, all with the Florida Panthers.
