The AHL Board of Governors has approved the relocation of Vancouver’s AHL franchise to Abbotsford and of New Jersey’s AHL franchise to Utica, effective with the 2021-22 season.

The Vancouver Canucks confirmed today their intent to relocate the club’s American Hockey League affiliate to Abbotsford, B.C., for the start the 2021-22 season.
