Young prospects, veteran leaders and coaching have the Milwaukee Admirals poised to make a run at a Calder Cup title this spring.

At the core of any successful hockey team is well-built and well-stocked roster. That is exactly what general manager Scott Nichol has put together in his year and half with the Milwaukee Admirals. 

Offense has been leading the Milwaukee Admirals’ charge to the top of the AHL this season, and Colin Blackwell and Cole Schneider have been at the forefront.

The Nashville Predators have acquired forward Michael McCarron from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for forward Laurent Dauphin.

Hartford’s Kris Knoblauch, Rochester’s Chris Taylor, Milwaukee’s Karl Taylor and Tucson’s Jay Varady have clinched the honor of coaching at the 2020 AHL All-Star Classic.

Manitoba forward Jansen Harkins, Milwaukee forward Tommy Novak and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton goaltender Casey DeSmith have been selected as the league’s award winners for November.

Milwaukee Admirals forward Yakov Trenin has been selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending December 1, 2019.

Milwaukee Admirals defenseman Josh Healey has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game at Iowa on Nov. 19.

Milwaukee Admirals forward Daniel Carr has been selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending November 10, 2019.
