AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Manitoba Moose forward Felix Girard has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of his actions in a game at San Antonio on Nov. 13.

Girard was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 21.1 after being assessed a match penalty for an illegal check to the head of an opponent. He will miss Manitoba’s games tonight (Nov. 14) at Texas and Saturday (Nov. 17) at Grand Rapids.
