The Rochester Americans have re-signed forward Dalton Smith to a one-year American Hockey League contract for the 2018-19 season.
Smith, 26, appeared in 45 games with Rochester last season, posting one goal and one assist.
Smith has played 271 games in the AHL with Rochester, Lehigh Valley, Providence, Syracuse and Springfield, recording 23 goals and 19 assists for 42 points.
Entering his seventh pro season in 2018-19, Smith was a second-round pick by Columbus in the 2010 NHL Draft.
