Bruins sign five

The Boston Bruins have signed forward A.J. Greer to a two-year, one-way contract; defenseman Dan Renouf to a two-year, two-way contract; defenseman Connor Carrick to a one-year, two-way contract; goaltender Keith Kinkaid to a one-year, two-way contract; and forward Vinni Lettieri to a one-year, two-way contract.

Greer played 53 games with the AHL’s Utica Comets in 2021-22 and set career highs with 22 goals, 30 assists and 52 points. He also scored five power-play goals and four shorthanded markers. In five Calder Cup Playoff games, Greer notched six goals and two assists.

Greer also played nine games with the New Jersey Devils last season, notching a goal and an assist.

Greer has played 278 games in the AHL over six seasons with Utica, Binghamton, Bridgeport, Colorado and San Antonio, totaling 85 goals and 110 assists for 195 points. As a rookie in 2016-17, Greer participated in the AHL All-Star Classic and also received the Yanick Dupre Memorial Award as the AHL’s Man of the Year in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the San Antonio community.

A second-round draft pick by Colorado in 2015, Greer has two goals and six assists in 47 career NHL games with the Avalanche and Devils.

Renouf recorded three goals and 11 assists in 63 games with the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins in 2021-22. He also appeared in four NHL games with Detroit.

A two-time Calder Cup champion with Grand Rapids (2017) and Charlotte (2019), Renouf has played 342 games in the AHL with the Griffins, Checkers and Colorado Eagles and has amassed 13 goals and 73 assists for 86 points. He also has three assists in 23 career NHL contests with Detroit and Colorado.

Carrick spent the 2021-22 season with the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers, notching 10 goals and 22 assists for 32 points in 59 games.

Carrick has played 217 games in the AHL with Charlotte, Binghamton, Texas, Toronto and Hershey, posting 30 goals and 85 assists for 115 points. He participated in the AHL All-Star Classic in 2015 and 2016.

A fifth-round pick by Washington in the 2012 NHL Draft, Carrick has tallied 13 goals and 36 assists for 49 points in 241 career NHL games with Washington, Toronto, Dallas and New Jersey.

Kinkaid was 20-14-2 in 37 appearances with the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack in 2021-22, posting a 2.94 goals-against average, a .904 save percentage and one shutout. He also made one start with the New York Rangers, making 29 saves in a win at Arizona on Dec. 15, 2021.

Kinkaid has played 199 games in the AHL with Hartford, Charlotte, Laval and Albany and has a career record of 96-74-23 with a 2.70 GAA, a .906 save percentage and 12 shutouts.

In 167 NHL appearances with New Jersey, Montreal and the N.Y. Rangers, Kinkaid is 69-58-21 (2.92, .905) with eight shutouts.

Lettieri notched five goals and five assists in 31 NHL games with the Anaheim Ducks in 2021-22, and has seven goals and 11 assists in 82 career contests with the Ducks and Rangers.

He also skated in 24 AHL games with the San Diego Gulls last season, recording eight goals and 14 assists for 22 points.

In 219 AHL games with San Diego and Hartford, Lettieri has notched 93 goals and 87 assists for 180 points. He was an AHL All-Star in 2020.
