Bruins square series with Game 2 win

Jordan Szwarz scored the go-ahead shorthanded goal early in the third period to propel Providence to a 5-3 win over Lehigh Valley in Game 2 of their Atlantic Division semifinal series on Saturday night.

The series is even at 1-1 with Game 3 set for Friday night in Allentown.

Szwarz scored 19 seconds into the final frame, restoring the Bruins’ lead after the Phantoms had come back from 2-0 down to tie.

Peter Cehlarik scored a pair of goals for the Bruins, Paul Postma recorded two assists and Jordan Binnington recorded 23 saves for the win.

Mike Vecchione led the Phantoms with a goal and an assist.
